American choreographer Jennifer Lacey moved from New York to Paris where she founded the Megagloss company with Carole Bodin in 2000 and started a privileged collaboration with visual artist and scenographer Nadia Lauro, creating several shows. Over the last few years, Jennifer Lacey also produced several projects with equivocal borders: Projet Bonbonnière, a living and travelling research project conceived to rehabilitate the "théâtres à l'italienne"; Prodwhee!, series of disposable performances using residencies as a trading currency; Robin Hood, a mythical and invisible performance with artist Cerith Wyn Evans; Robin Hood - The Tour, an act of robbery perpetrated with musician and composer Florian Hecker. More recently, she produced Transmaniastan, a piece commissioned for "A Choreographed Exhibition" at Kunsthalle St. Gallen and has also been collaborating with artist Tonia Livingstone on a performance entitled Culture and Administration.

Juan Domínguez, born in Valladolid in 1964, is a performer and a choreographer. He studied dance and video in Spain and the USA and received various grants to study in Movement Research, New York. Since 1987, he has worked as a performer and artistic assistant, and since 1992 he has developed his own work, questionning the medium of performance as well as time and space as parameters of dance. Exploring the relation between the differents codes, his performances tend towards a complete dissolving of the borders between fiction and reality. His most recent works are The Taste is Mine (2000), All Good Spies are my Age (2002), The Application (2005), the 7th act for the opera Seven Attempted Escapes from Silence (2005), Shichimi Togarashi (2006), All Good Artists my Age are Dead (2007), the research project From… to… (2007), Don’t Even Think About It (2008), and Blue (2009). Since 2003, he directs and programs the Festival In-Presentable in La Casa Encendida, Madrid.

After received the Belgian SACD price for her first dance performance in 1996, Barbara Manzetti quickly moves away from the usual frames of creation exploring more immediate spaces of investigation in the urban space. She often chooses a transitory time and space for her performances; the spectator is physiquement involved in the situation, and the work becomes simultaneously objet and pathway. Meanwhile, she organises with Sofie Kokaj Où Nul Théâtre-Théâtre, a semi-secret structure for artistic intervention: acting under the names "Tant de  Roses" and "Transport Public" they present their theatre work on paper, minimal publications, posters, performances in public and private contexts (Brussels, 1996-1999).  Her research and the many collaborations aim at constructing a suggestive, or resonant, space. Performative objects often remain ephemeral and changing, pushing the limits of representation, sometimes up to embarrassment, looking constantly for closeness to the spectator through a physical or behavioural intimacyor through the reversibility of the « role »  chosen by the performer (author, actor, dictator, spectator). Confusion is installed, between public space and intimate space, in the permanent attempt at escaping the existing frames and proposing new ones, ephemeral and unforeseeable. Recently, she took part in projects by Jennifer Lacey and Nadia Lauro, Nasser Martin Gousset, Dora Garcia, Dominique Thirion.

TkH - Walking Theory

Depuis 2000, le collectif existe en tant qu’organisation indépendante : TkH-center for performing arts theory and practice².

Open gardening: workshop of fine arts in and with the garden.

jardinage ouvert

In 2013, Les Laboratoires d’Aubervilliers continue to host the project La Semeuse as it grows, with a dual social and artistic approach. The aim is to tie the issues the project deals with to the town of Aubervilliers and to encourage residents to question in a broad sense the place we reserve for living things in our modern society as well as the ways and conditions under which we create a life together. Within this renewal, the outdoor garden - opened in Spring 2012 - has been transformed during participative construction sessions in April, and it is being activated by a new artistic proposition. Workshops and evening-debates are regularly organized: you are welcome to participate in these collective moments of encounter, sharing and learning about gardening that will occur twice a month.

TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE SPACE AND THE TOOLS
(use the greenhouse to sew your seeds or protect your plants, bring your compost into the compost bin, borrow electrical and manual gardening tools, enjoy the space for a picnic, a snack, an outdoor meeting…)

MAKE A MORE LASTING COMMITMENT
(participate in collective gardening: maintaining the garden, planting in the field; take over a plot and grow your tomatoes, herbs, flowers and whatever else there, propose ideas for changes to the garden, partnerships, workshops, activities, plantings, actions in the public space, debates, etc… and even be involved in setting them up!)

PARTICIPATE OCCASIONALLY
(come to the open-house days in the garden, participate in workshops for adults and children – intro to composting, making your own birdhouses or insect houses, sprouting seeds, gardening, DIY, art… - come to the monthly la Semeuse meetings for an evening’s discussion about a particular subject related to urban gardening – ecology, politics, landscape, urban setting lifestyle, etc.).
